Your first visit.
You’ll find people sitting together, chatting over tea and coffee. Start by saying hello and letting someone know it’s your first time. You can join a conversation or take a little time to settle in.
You don’t need to be struggling to come along, and you don’t have to discuss your service or personal circumstances.
Find the hall.
We meet at Leigh Masonic Hall, 61 Ellesmere Street, Leigh, WN7 4LQ. This is our meeting place, not the CIC’s registered office.
Say hello.
Let someone know you’ve come for the FOB coffee morning. Bringing a partner, family member or friend is welcome.
Take it at your own pace.
Have a brew, find a seat and see how you feel. If there’s something you need help with, you can ask about it when you’re ready.

Who can attend?
We welcome veterans, serving personnel, reservists, their families and the wider service community. You do not need to have served in a conflict.
Do I need to book?
There is no need to book. Come along during our published coffee-morning hours. If you would like to check arrangements before travelling, see our contact page.
When are the coffee mornings?
We meet every Tuesday from 11am to 1pm.
Is the venue accessible?

What if I only want some company?
You are very welcome. There is no expectation to ask for help or share a personal story; coming for a brew and some company is reason enough.
